COMMUNITY CONDUCT
- All players must treat one another with respect.
- Toxic behavior or encouraging toxicity on platforms such as Twitch, Reddit, Discord, or other community platforms may result in removal from the community.
- Sexual harassment, excessive name calling, shaming, and personal attacks are prohibited.
- Leaking another person's private information or making threats is prohibited.
- Players may not intimidate others into leaving the server or continuously harass another player for OOC reasons.
- Players must have legitimate reasoning behind their actions. Simply saying "it's my character" is not a valid excuse.
REPORTS & EVIDENCE
- Revenge reporting is prohibited.
- Staff will review both sides of a reported situation. If evidence shows both parties breaking rules, both parties may receive punishment.
- All submitted clips must be at least 2 minutes long and contain audio.
- Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in the report or clip being considered invalid.
TERMS OF SERVICE & EXPLOITS
- Players must follow applicable Twitch Terms of Service.
- Making spitting noises is considered a TOS violation and may result in a permanent ban.
- Any discovered bug or exploit must be reported.
- Knowingly abusing bugs, glitches, or exploits may result in a PERMANENT BAN.
02 ┃ CHARACTER & OOC RULES
OUT OF CHARACTER COMMUNICATION
OOC / OUT OF CHARACTER TALK IS PROHIBITED WHILE ACTIVELY ROLEPLAYING.
Talking about things outside of the city, game mechanics, game functions, or other OOC information while in character may be considered OOC communication.
VOICE COMMUNICATION
Voice activation is not permitted.
Players are required to use PUSH-TO-TALK.
CHARACTER NAMES
Characters must have realistic names and comply with applicable platform Terms of Service.
LARGE AMOUNTS OF CASH
Players carrying more than $200,000 in their inventory may have that money seized by police.
WARNING: Seized cash will not be returned.
03 ┃ PLAYER INTERACTIONS
- Mature or disturbing roleplay may only occur when everyone involved has agreed to the scenario OOC beforehand and the scenario is conducted away from public areas.
- Any player who becomes uncomfortable with an agreed scenario may leave it.
- Nonconsensual sexual scenarios, spitting on players, and nonconsensual touching are prohibited.
- Another player breaking a rule does not automatically stop the roleplay. Continue the scenario and submit an in-game report or ticket afterward.
- Stream sniping is prohibited. Using another player's stream to locate or interact with them may result in a permanent ban and removal from the whitelist.
- Players may take pictures using their phone and the appropriate emote.
- Players may record using a camera. Audio may only reasonably be captured when the player is close enough to hear it normally.
- All players must remain In Character unless an administrator instructs otherwise.
- Players may not void an active scenario without administrator approval.
- Players may not intentionally interrupt or cut off an active interaction unless instructed by an administrator.
- Administrator instructions must be followed.
NEGATIVE INTERACTIONS & COMBAT
GUNSHOT WOUNDS & CHARACTER DEATH
- Any character sustaining a GSW will receive a pocket wipe.
- After a character has died at least once, they may be considered character killed under applicable server rules.
- A first-death CK may apply when a super civilian heavily provokes a faction or faction member.
INITIATION
Any civilian-versus-civilian interaction where a firearm is pulled is considered a negative interaction and initiation.
THREATS
A single threat does not automatically provide justification to kill another player.
Under the server rule, a player's life must be threatened 3 or more times before they may act upon those threats.
LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERACTIONS
Players must have a valid roleplay reason before attempting to kill a police officer.
INCORRECT EXAMPLE
Your character has committed several serious crimes, but the officer has no knowledge of them. Killing that officer simply because your character has "5 bodies" would be considered Random Deathmatch.
VALID EXAMPLE
An officer directly witnesses your character commit a serious violent crime. Your character flees and the officer becomes directly involved in the resulting pursuit and confrontation.
POLICE EVIDENCE
If an officer is downed and you fail to properly roleplay removing their body camera or dash camera, other officers may use that evidence later in roleplay.
/me and /do commands are required for the removal to be considered valid.
SPECIAL PACKAGE WEAPONS
Special Package weapons may be robbed from players but cannot be permanently taken by police.
If your character is CK'd, the weapon will be returned according to server policy.
04 ┃ ROLEPLAY TERMINOLOGY

06 ┃ METAGAMING
DEFINITION

Encouraging another player to metagame also violates this rule.
EXAMPLES
- Reading information from an OOC chat and having your character suddenly know that information.
- Reading information from Twitch chat and using that information in character.
- Using Discord, Skype, or another outside communication platform to communicate IC information while playing.
OOC INFORMATION CANNOT BECOME IC KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT LEGITIMATE ROLEPLAY ESTABLISHING THAT INFORMATION.
07 ┃ POWERGAMING
DEFINITION
Powergaming includes performing unrealistic or impossible actions, forcing roleplay onto another player without allowing a reasonable response, inventing events that did not happen for personal benefit, or abusing game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage.
COMMON EXAMPLES
- Talking, organizing, or calling out locations while downed.
- Focusing entirely on the fastest method of making money rather than roleplaying around the mechanic.
- Repeatedly driving at unrealistic speeds without a valid character reason.
- Going from land into water during an active police scene to gain an unrealistic advantage.
- Selling drugs on or underneath highways, underground, or inside tunnels where the location provides an unrealistic advantage.
- Casually wearing masks and gloves without reasonable roleplay justification.
- V-Parking vehicles around police to gain an advantage.
- Cloning cards inside a Green Zone or farther north in a manner considered an unrealistic advantage.
V-PARKING PUNISHMENTS
| OFFENSE | PUNISHMENT |
|---|---|
| 1st Occurrence | 1 Week Ban |
| 2nd Occurrence | 2 Week Ban |
| 3rd Occurrence | PERMANENT BAN |
Police may instruct a player to un-park their vehicle. Failure to comply may result in punishment under the Powergaming rule.
08 ┃ DEATHMATCHING
DEFINITION
Killing another player without sufficient roleplay justification is considered DEATHMATCHING.
Unnecessary provoking may also fall under this rule.
TERRORISM IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
REVENGE KILLING
Players cannot respawn after being killed and return to kill or attempt to kill the person responsible.
When applicable under NLR, your character forgets the events leading to their death.
DEATHMATCHING EXAMPLES
- Attacking another player or group without story or roleplay leading up to the attack.
- Using a vehicle with the intention of killing or knocking someone out without valid reasoning or initiation.
- Respawning after being killed, retrieving a firearm, and returning to kill the person responsible.
- Provoking a fistfight with unarmed players and then unnecessarily pulling a firearm and killing them.
- Provoking another player or situation without valid reasoning.
Tackling: Tackling players is prohibited unless appropriately used while playing football.
09 ┃ ROBBING & SCAMMING
ROBBERY
Taking another player's possessions, money, or items through force or threat of force.
SCAMMING
Offering a good or service and then refusing to provide the agreed payment, item, or service.
ALL ROBBERIES AND SCAMS MUST BE CONDUCTED STRICTLY IN CHARACTER.
ROBBERY RESTRICTIONS
- Players cannot force another player to withdraw money from an ATM.
- There must always be valid roleplay reasoning behind a robbery.
- Players cannot force another player to transfer or sell their vehicle through script commands during a robbery.
- Players cannot force another player to hand over assets that are not physically present within the scenario.
- Players may not scam other players for vehicles or properties.
- The maximum scam amount is $100,000.
- Items belonging to the Police Department or EMS Department cannot be robbed.
- Players cannot commit robberies while using luxury, high-end, or sports vehicles.
- Players may rob cash another player is physically carrying.
- Looting dead players is prohibited.
- Groups cannot intentionally split up and simultaneously hit houses across different areas simply to spread police resources.
- Players cannot provoke situations inside a Green Zone.
- Players may commit robberies every 6 hours.
- Players cannot rob or scam inside a Green Zone.
CHAIN ROBBERIES
Chain robberies may be considered unrealistic or poor character portrayal unless properly roleplayed.
Players may perform no more than ONE ROBBERY PER HOUR.
This limitation applies to the entire group, including getaway drivers and other participating members.
Players should not kill another person during a robbery unless the victim's actions create legitimate roleplay justification.
VALUE YOUR LIFE — YOUR CHARACTER'S LIFE IS IMPORTANT.
10 ┃ NEW LIFE RULE (NLR)
DEFINITION
If your character is downed and respawns at the hospital, your character forgets the immediate events that led to being downed during that scenario.
- You cannot return to the location of your death for at least 15 MINUTES.
- You cannot immediately attempt to recover possessions lost during the scenario.
- You cannot use forgotten information to retaliate against players involved in your death.
11 ┃ EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS)
MEDICAL TREATMENT
EMS generally will not provide full injury treatment directly on the street or in public, depending on the circumstances surrounding the scene.
Players suffering significant injuries should be transported to the hospital and roleplay receiving proper treatment.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE
If a civilian is seriously injured, EMS should transport the patient using a stretcher, /carry, or another appropriate method and continue the medical roleplay at the hospital.
MEDICAL RECORDS
EMS may use its medical database to record a character's hospital visits and may request follow-up visits when appropriate.
EMS personnel should properly document patient visits and checkups according to department procedures.
REVIVES
PLAYERS MAY NOT INTENTIONALLY OR PLAYFULLY KILL ONE ANOTHER AND THEN REQUEST AN EMS OR GOVERNMENT REVIVE.
FINAL REMINDER
These rules exist to maintain a fair, realistic, and enjoyable environment throughout The Streets Roleplay.

•
RESPECT OTHER PLAYERS
•
VALUE YOUR LIFE
•
ROLEPLAY YOUR ACTIONS
Rule violations should be handled through the proper reporting system rather than by interrupting an active roleplay scenario.
